Our privacy approach

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal details for advertising. We collect only the information needed for Growmigo to work, such as creating your account, generating coaching, sending reminders, managing subscriptions, keeping the service secure, and fixing problems.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the app, we may collect account information such as your email address, name, login provider, and authentication details; coaching information such as goals, habits, quests, progress, onboarding answers, coach preferences, and chat messages; photos you choose to submit for activity analysis or attach to Coach Chat; notification settings such as your preferred reminder time and push notification token; subscription status and purchase identifiers; and technical information such as device details, diagnostics, crash logs, and basic usage events.

Health and wellness information

The coaching information you choose to provide may include details about physical activity and fitness, sleep, food and nutrition, stress and wellbeing, injuries, and smoking- or alcohol-related goals. We use this information to tailor your coaching, plans, habits, quests, and progress tracking. Growmigo is a general coaching service and is not a medical service.

How we use information

We use your information to provide your AI coaching experience, create daily quests and reminders, save your progress, personalize recommendations, manage account access, process and verify subscriptions, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, troubleshoot bugs, and improve reliability and product quality.

AI coaching

Growmigo uses AI service providers to generate coaching responses and related app content. Information you provide in the app, including goals, preferences, onboarding answers, activities, and chat messages, may be processed by those providers as needed to deliver and personalize the coaching features. Where provider controls are available, we disable model training with this content and request zero or minimal content retention.

Photo activity analysis

If you choose to take or select a photo for activity analysis, we send the photo and relevant coaching context, such as your goals, habits, onboarding answers, recent activities, and recent conversation summaries, to our server and an AI service provider to identify the activity. Growmigo does not add the original photo to your account or retain it after the analysis request is complete. If you confirm an identified activity, the resulting activity details are saved to your account.

Coach Chat photos

If you voluntarily take or select a photo to attach to Coach Chat, the photo and any caption are sent to our server, an AI safety service, and our configured AI model provider so the coach can respond. Accepted photos are stored privately with the raw Coach Chat transcript and remain visible in retained chat history. Source photos are deleted when you clear that day's chat, delete your account, or the 30-day transcript window expires.

Image bytes are not added to long-term Graphiti or Markdown memory, although important facts expressed or discussed in text may be distilled under the existing memory behavior. If you explicitly report a coach response, its preceding photo may be copied into an immutable report snapshot for administrator review. That report copy can survive source-chat clearing or expiry and is deleted with the report or your account data.

Service providers

We use trusted service providers to operate the app, including providers for hosting, AI processing, analytics, crash reporting, push notifications, authentication, and subscription management. These providers may process limited information on our behalf, but they are not allowed to use your personal information for their own advertising or unrelated purposes.

Crash reporting and diagnostics

Our crash-reporting service may collect crash details, relevant app and device information, and a pseudonymous app-installation identifier so we can find and fix technical problems. We do not intentionally attach your Growmigo account ID, name, or email address to crash reports.

Subscriptions and app stores

Subscriptions are managed through the relevant app store and our subscription provider. We receive subscription status and related identifiers so we can unlock paid features, restore purchases, and verify eligibility. Apple, Google, or the payment provider may separately process payment details under their own privacy policies.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, we store the details needed to send reminders and coach prompts, such as your notification preference, reminder time, and push token. You can change notification permissions in the app or through your device settings.

Account deletion

You can delete your account in the app or request deletion on our website. When you do, we delete your app-owned coaching data, including goals, habits, progress, quests, chat history and stored Coach Chat photos, AI-response reports and their photo snapshots, coach settings, push token, and saved personalization data. We retain a limited account record, including the account email address, sign-in provider identifier, trial eligibility, and subscription status or identifiers, for purchase restoration, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and account integrity. These limited records are kept for the lifetime of the Growmigo service unless a longer period is required by law.

Age requirement

Growmigo is intended for adults aged 18 or older. You must be at least 18 to create or use an account.

Security and retention

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No online service can guarantee perfect security. We keep information only for as long as needed to provide the app, meet the purposes described here, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our terms.

Your choices

You can update app content in the product, change notification permissions, manage or cancel subscriptions through the app store or in-app subscription screen, and delete your account in the app. You can also contact us to ask about your data, request help, or raise a privacy concern.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Growmigo evolves. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as updating this page or providing an in-app notice.
